January 2018

We got a little snow, we stopped at Grandma Reese's to shovel the walks!
Foster wanted to help!
He was in shorts
but stuck it out while Collins and I stayed in the car.

We got to celebrate Christmas with Chanse and Treysen
Collins has refused to stay at nursery the last year and a half without Brennen or I, the battle was just not worth it but she is three now and Sunbeams was next. I prayed and I prayed that she would go. She didn't want to stay without me, so I stayed for sharing time. But when it was time for class I said she either goes by herself or she goes to timeout. Of course the little devil chose time out. So i took her to the mothers room and sat her in the recliner and told her not to move. We could sit here the whole time or she could go to class. So she cried in the chair, then as the men in our ward were going to there classes in the hall she could hear them talking. So I told a lie. I said those old men are going to come in here and tie you to this chair or you can go to class, still sniffling she decided she would rather go to class. So we went back upstairs and she went in without me! Miracle.... and she stayed.... and she loved it.... and she goes back every week!!

Foster is a CTR 5 now, so he got his new CTR ring at the beginning of the year. He is a pretty good kid, at least during sharing time anyways when I can see him.

We went to story time, I was in the back with Reyah and looked up to see Foster taking good care of his sister. Love the bond they share.

I was making poppy bread and told them they could watch one show, looked in to the living room to find this, Reyah was even into it.

On our way to the slopes.......
We tore it up..... Well as much as we could with Collins anyways, she has great balance but doesn't love to stop, she likes to go fast so we keep hold of the reins for now.

Wiped OUT!

Dad sleeps, kids stay awake.

We have been taking our challenge from Bayli and President Monson seriously to read the book of mormon everyday. They kids are excited about coloring there pages in.

We have only been to watch Dad play basketball twice, it stressed me out, the kids love to go and Collins was taking pictures while we were there.

We got to have Reyah for a sleepover, she wanted her hair done too! so we did, she sat so still and looked cute.

While Reyah should have been the one sleeping, she was wide awake and the other two fell asleep while we were waiting for the kids to get out of school.

Snow football

Pictionary, tucker drew bayli, besides large arms, he did pretty good.
So then I said pull a face like Bayli!

Missionaries came for dinner and man could they eat!
They broke my bar, but then made up for it by sharing a message with us and doing our dishes.

All the snow melted and it felt like spring so we walked to the park, Collins wanted pants under shorts like the boys do.

We had fun with the tub dye we got for christmas.

Just wearing our swimsuits and dancing with swords. Just the usual around here.

I gave in to letting Brennen hang his ugly deer, it is in the back corner of the house instead of above my bed, so I didn't totally give in.

Foster took a picture of Collins snuggling dad, she is a good snuggler.

January felt a little like march around here, we had to go to the mountains to find snow.

And we found it, not a lot of it but enough for the kids to happy to ski!
